Uptown Tent City residents are having a hard time after losing their homes under Lake Shore Drive viaducts on the North Side of Chicago due to a six-month construction project for bridge repairs. Uptown neighborhood residents are witnessing the dilemma, and wonder how to strike a balance between fixing the crumbling bridge and protecting homeless people, upholding their dignity as well as their sense of community?
